Time to recone my TRF 15. As many of you know the 4hp motor is a beast and a half with it's 4in VC, tripple stack 70ish lbs motor. Whether it be a TRF, T3, Ti Pro/5200, whatever.......it's serious......
I went through FLstrongman for my recone. He was able to get me all original TRF parts. The only thing I did differently on this one is upgraded tensile leads. I felt that the single run of leads are great for burps, but certainly get stressed with daily 3kw+ abuse. He was able to find a set of TRF without the leads already sewn in, and spliced those on my recone.
Since those extra leads were seperate from the original leads, I had to go and sew those leads on myself (wasn't as tidious as I was expecting). Pink was the lightest color I had besides yellow and it gave an almost psi look to it lol....
Onto the pics....
1 out of 1 babies agree this woofer needs to get fixed soon.
mmm
after some sanding
gigantor coil
you can see the unsewn extra leads
size ref
