it's a slick way to justify yourself into raising prices. heard it this morning from an oil man on talk radio. he should have been a politician.

they can make more money selling crude oil in bulk instead of refining it, so they justify raising prices on the refined product to offset there loss for not just selling it in crude form.

we have 40 years worth in 1 place, here in the u.s. it's not profitable for anyone to look for it any anymore. no significant survying has even happenned since 1978. allowing people to look for it would lower prices right away. there are strict government restrictions on surveying.

They just dug two in the us had it on the discovery channel. The show is oil sweat and rigs. And that just that one show. If they are other company probably are too. And they did hit oil @ 10k ft.

we have 40 years worth, at current consumption, just here in colorado. too bad it's in the mountains. imagine if an oil company actually drilled for it. you'd have every environmental activist in the nation chaining themselves to oil dereks.

big oil companies. they are allowed a monopoly since the early 80's. before that, they could only own 2 out of the 3 major areas of petroleum. the drilling, the refining and the selling of petroleum are the three big ones.

again, couldnt care less about getting my degree. its just a fail safe for if what i graduated from tech school for doesnt work out. and i took a few things in tech school to back up my actual tech school major, also as backups.

i put on a happy face, cheat on my tests, go to class just to sign the log in sheet to get the attendence points and walk out whenever the teacher isnt looking. whatever i gotta do to get the little piece of paper that says i did it, because in the end i dont plan on using it anyways.

i tried being a good student, it didnt work out. Books: 1 | Me: 0

I hope you don't do that in all your classes. Some of that information is actually quite useful. Not to mention someones paying a lot of money for it.
