Reasons for hot amp?

I'm so tired of you Justyn. If your shit blows than you messed up! If not that it's all good! Turn it down or don't! It's a choice. Nobody here wants to listen to you ***** in the 3 threads you post every night about the same shit.

like others have suggested, check your ground. if you think its good, it probably isn't. also, like everyone has said, amps get hot. thats just the nature of the beast. if your subs are getting hot (the cone) then im willing to bet you are pushing em too hard and clipping them.

Okay, my cones stay cool not warm at all since i set the gain, i was thinking running a 0ga wire from the neg battery to chassis and grind the ground some more.

Well kinda i mean i shaved off the metal and its on the floor of the trunk, but like i said under the hood where the neg wire goes to chasis is very small so i was thinking use to 0 ga and run it there also.v

Okay, well sorry jered turp im a nood and i'll stop doing that sorry..
Hahah sorry about that. I'm your age and had a 2 12" Type R setup less than 4 months ago. I think you are fine man. Every amp I've run has gotten hot and gains have been set correctly. Especially if the amp is in a place where the hear will not dissipate quickly, they can get pretty warm.

Yeah ill think about it i have a shitty prefab box i wanna build a new one but i don't really have the time i will in the summer and see how it sounds then.
