rearview mirror wont stay on...

i'm fu ckining sick of this shi t. its fallen off 4 times....i use the glue that came with the kit (permatex i believe), clean it, tape it up there for a day(just the metal part) and it still falls off.. its a lincoln so it has intergratated features w the mirror so its abit heavier then normal.

was you sure to scrap ALL the old glue off....i had this problem but didnt get allt he old glue off first.

used a razarblade and got the glue off, wiped the area with the supplied wipe thingy to clean it. And the thing is they only ask for it to stay on there for 15 min before attaching the mirror,i leave it on for a day in 60-70 degree weather.

i'm f'n loud but not that loud.

Same thing was happening to me. What I did was let it sit for about 3 days before putting the mirror back up. I went through about 4 or 5 different glues before i found this out.
