Rear Deck Vibration...

My rear deck vibrates a LOT. The "LATCH" system hook covers (the plastic pieces) vibrate completely off, the rear windshield brake light vibrates all over the place, and the "wood" covering vibrates against the metal deck all the time. Anyone figure out how to quiet this whole setup (without removing it altogether)? If so, how?

You're going to have to take apart the rear deck and do some deadening if you want it done right. Look at Second Skin at http://www.secondskinaudio.com . The Damplifier is great stuff!

any dynamat. my rear deck was rattiling like crazy one point then bought some expanding foam from us compsoites and just filled up empty spaces on my deck and doors and all and its quiet as fuk. now the bass sound sweeter

In my cutlass, I just took the bish out and made my port there, lol!

would deadening the whole back deck that quiet the sub any? you would be sealing off the trunk from the cabin then, right?
