Really annoying issue..

So I recently put a 15" RE MT/Eclipse hybeid sub in 4 cubes into the trunk of my volvo s40....got it all wired up to my power acoustic a2400db at 2 ohms and....nothing.

No lights, nothing. I switched the remote wire from my comp. amp (that one works) and still nothing, even put the 8ga power wire from the speaker amp into the sub amp and still nothing.

Checked the fuses in the front, nothing blown. Haven't pulled the amp apart yet (or checked its fuses) but nothing poppped or sparked..

check ground, remote power wire, and make sure the fuses are in tight........

Okay so I switched the power wire with my 8ga and it worked. I didnt know wire could break? No fuses are blown on the wire or battery, what could the problem be?

make sure you have a secure ground.
