Reading these amp specs....

I need a cheap 2ch amp for my fronts, and found this for pretty cheap on my local craigslist.

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-4IjHY9DX86x/p_489640SXK/Profile-California-640sx.html?tab=morephotos&pi=3&display=L

It's a profile 640sx...nothing special, but it's cheap and I kind of like the way it looks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

But the specs are:

# 2-, 3-, or 4-channel output

# Tri-way capable (Tri-Way crossover required)

# 75 watts x 4 into 4 ohms

# 110 watts x 4 into 2 ohms

# 225 watts x 2 in bridged (2-channel) mode

I'm assuming that 225 is at 2ohms....so what does it put out bridged at 4ohms? I need 150x2 @4ohms. Is there a reason they don't specify?

Also...noob question, but to hook up a 4 channel amp for 2 channels bridged in stereo, I only use one set of rca's and connect the left to the left of one of the inputs, and the right to the right of the other input right?

Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

when you bridge 2 2-ohm stable channels, it becomes 1 4-ohm stable channel.

So, when you bridge a 4 channel amp... that gives you 220w RMS @ 4 ohm on 2 channels.

Running this amp fully, you'll get your 150wRMS x 2 (plus a very small amount)

Jeep's right, all RCAs in on this amp.
