RE12's

Hey whats up, my electrical system in my car isnt the greatest and i want to get the most output from it, so i figured multiple subs would be the way to go, i did a search but not many people have the RE12's i was thinking about ordering 4 of these and running them in a sealed enclosure about 1.25 cu ft per cause i dont have enough room in my trunk to go ported, i would run these off of a kicker 600.1, which people have told me do about 700w rms at 2 ohms, also open to suggestions for other amps, anything thats ~350wX2@4ohms, or ~700w@2ohms to properly power these. What i would like to know is if these would have more output then 2 shivas, 2 type-r's, and anything else u can compare with the same power. I basicly want to know how this rates spl wise compared to other options running about the same power. Thanks

i just found some rf p2's on ebay the are about the same price and require about the same power how do the re12's compare to these?

Id take 2 shivas over 2 RE RE's

Just keep that gain low and the RE RE's wont see 200RMS

the comparison was 4re re's compared to 2 shivas, becasue that is more closer comparison around same price and required wattage. thanks for input though 2 shivas was my original idea b4 i thought of this. Only reason im considering this is because of more surface area, any other comments?

i also have another question concerning the amp, i know these amps are both made by the same company but which amp do you think or know actually puts out more watts rms at 2ohm?

Rated Power @ 2 ohm - 800 x 1 RMS

Viper audio 1200.1

Rated Power @ 2 ohm: 700 x 1 RMS

seems kinda wierd that they have the 1100d rated higher at 2ohm but lower at 1ohm, any comments? thanks

some amps are targeted towards 2ohm and up. I would say its a little akward but if youre planning on wiring it at 2 ohms it doesnt really matter anyway

both are basicly the same exact amps, and you wont hear a difference in the 2
