RE XXX VS FI BTL VS 2 12 L7's

im sorry to keep posting about different things but no one has really answered what i want to know...i have 2 12 L7's with a bxi2006d and a Nolte audio box, its decently loud, but im thinking about making a bigger box but hte biggest i can fit is 34Wx14Hx20D i dont think thats enough space for 2 12 L7's, i want to me louder to the ear, i dont really care too much about the meter because i dont go to comps alot, once in a while,

if i got 1 12 XXX and put it in the right box would it be louder then my 2 12's? or if i got 1 12 BTL and put it in the right box, thanks for your opinions!

yea but i want to know if it will be louder to the ear then my 2 12's since it will only be 1 12...how much are you looking to get and what are the coils on it?

whats your preference? do you want to be different when youre at competitions? do you compete? do you realize its more work building a box for two twelves rather than one twelve if you do compete. if that's your max dimensions, id say go with one twelve off that amp.

No, while my XXX 12 is loud as hell, it's defiantly not going to be louder then 2 L7's if they were in a good box. a BTl will be louder then a XXX not be as versitile though. 2 10" BTL's will fit that size of box well, and use aeros ports and should be louder then the 2 L7's

well i see most people putting it in a 4.0 CU box and higher for L7's i only have around 3.5 after displacement and port i think...im wondering with only having that little space if i got a XXX or BTL, or maybe 2 10's but i dont think i can afford the BTL maybe 2 10 DD, im just looking for something louder with the room that i have

Get the xxx. It will seemed louder because of the low end extension.

This would require a minimum of 3000 watts and that is just for daily. To win a comp in this class would require much more power as the BTLs can take 4 grand plus on burps each.

im not looking to go into comps, im looking for a louder daily system, right now i have the 2 12 L7's but i dont think i have enough room to get full potential out of them, so i was thinking maybe 1 xxx or 1 btl would be better i dont know tho

XXX is not geared towards SPL, comparing that to the BTL or the L7 is kind of a moot point

but i can tell you right now, neither the btl or the xxx will be able to compete against the SERIOUS cone disadvantage they have.

this is coming from a btl owner, and someone who has extensivly listened to the xxx. i just dont see the either sub making up that much ground.

so you dont think if i switched to 1 12 BTL or 1 12 XXX instead of my 2 12 L7's it wouldnt be louder? like i stated before, i dont think i have enough room for the L7's to get the most potential, so i figured if i put a sub in that holds 1600rms-2000rms in the RIGHT box it would be louder then my subs in the wrong box
