It'll be fine in a nice strong sealed box. About 1.0-1.3 sealed net.

This forum has alot of smart *****.

Unless you want a ridiculously large box, you want to seal the new XXX's. And sealed enclosures are where long excursion driver's can really shine anyway. But Hoffman's Iron Law tells us if you want good LFE and a small sealed box, it will require alot of power. Especially considering the excursion level we are talking about.

theres still a fair amount of good options out there. I think the MTX 9500 is a under rated sub and is great for SQL and thats just one for example

no way.....and i mean no way. They won't last long at a true 2000 daily...that came from electrodynamic himself.
