what's better overall RE XXX or ECLIPSE TITANIUM? they're both in the same price range..

i havent heard the XXX but i know it's a good sub.....the eclipse im sure would win in SQ but they aren't same price at all. the prices on the RE subs are MSRP i believe the sub will coust like around 350 or something good day

RE XXX!!

Especially in overall spl....but will still maintain sq in the right enclosure

I have 2 12" Eclipse Ti's....and there are no complaints here. They sound awesome, but are more of an SQ sub than an SPL sub. They still can give u good spl:crazy: ...i have RF Power bd1500 runnin to each sub .

The prices for the Ti's have gone down alot.....u can get 12" Ti for $325 and 15" Ti for $375.

So if u want SQ...go with eclipse, but if you want SPL go with XXX.

i could get the RE XXX for $335 and eclipse titanium for $320... and eclipse is more known..

i know RE XXX would be better on SPL, but eclipse would be better on SQ.. but what's better overall?? ratio.. combine REXXX and eclipse in SPL and SQ..

I'd say XXX for a good balance

dont get me wrong...ele can get hella loud

have you metered yours yet? if you did how many DBs did you hit??

if i want all SPL i would go with strokers. i thought about IDMAX but it looks ugly with green lettering.. i dont really want all out loud subs... that's why it's going on a sealed box(fiberglass).. i want it to sound very very nice and loud enough so people can hear and feel the bass in the streets...

I would take the XXX. I have mine in a 2.0 cubic foot box and i honestly dont think it sounds that good. Im more or a port-head though myself so the new box is in the works, gonna give it about 8 1/2 cubic feet @ 32 hz
