RE XXX 12" w/ Soundstream VGA 1600.2 - need advice

I plan on getting a XXX 12" but I would like to have a bass control module. I see that the Soundstream VGA 1600.2 will be a good amp paired w/ the sub but it does not have a separate bass control like the Hifonics and JL amp.

My current setup is:

- Clarion 935 DVD

- MBQ PSDs 6.5" front/rear

- Alpine V12 amp

What should I do if I want a bass control module? I hate to turn up the bass w/ the volume along w/ the mids and highs.

You'd be getting 'round 1600W to your XXX... Do you really need bass boost? Also, you shouldn't use remote bass boost as a substitute for volume control.

Get a cheap Clarion EQ with subwoofer control.

Theres no cleaner SQ amp than the VGA, the amps you compared it too are not even the same topology and can't even come close to the levels of THD produced by the VGA, if you ever wanna get rid of it let me know.
