re xxx 12" vs team rockford 12"

The rf would need about 6-7cuft@40hz, the XXX I'd do at least 5cuft@30-34hz

Why do you keep bumping a thread comparing totally different subs? If you cant decide between the two still, you aren't paying attention. If you want raw SPL, the TRF would be a better choice. If you are more interested in it sounding good too, the XXX would be a better choice. Continuing to bump this thread will not change that.

ok well here goes, what ever choose is goin in the back of my cadillac so space is not an issue. it will be for daily driving and i want it to pound!! it will be powered by a orion 2500d, so my next question would be how big a box do i need for the xxx to get loud (pound!!)

I did a 147 with that exact amp and a XXX..

I would do 4 cf @ 30-32 hz

which trf is it? if it was the black motor(cactus) i would not run it daily. they dont sound good. but either way. the xxx would be a better daily sub
