If they can crate up a XXX or MT, then i dont see how giving the option of Crating up an SX or SE is asking for too much. Expecially after seeing what the cardboard packing looks like upon delivery

i've ordered SE's and SX's from RE. With the SE's both boxes were in rough shape with the foam rolling loosly in the box. One of them were damaged by fedex as well. luckily RE handled it very promptly and had another at my door about a week later. The SX's on the other hand came to me in pristine condition, boxes still in excellent shape. Note that completely different trucks and drivers delivered these. I think it all depends on how caring all the fedex people are that come into contact with your package. I can only imagine some clown at fedex saying, "hey it says fragile, lets see how fragile it really is?"

If the sub was not damaged, why start a thread like this? Even if it would have been, they would have had you a new one promptly. I have ordered 14 subs from RE and out of those have had one 12 spoke basket cracked. Guess what. . . It was a crated XXX 15 and the box showed no sign of damage. I did not even notice it until I started tightening the bolts while installing. RE had me a new one in 6 days.

oh yea, my sx's came packaged the same way, but my packaged came perfectly fine unlike yours. i think fed ex ****ed you over.

there are a couple reasons why the XXX and MT cost aboput 150-200$ more...

more shiny is 1, can you guess the others?
