RE unprofessional.. but worth the money

i recieved a beat up looking box and was wondering what it was... i opened it up discovering that my 18" RE SX was inside just sitting there in the box with no padding or anything, putting it nicely im going to say i was upset... i was also dissapointed in the magnet structure i figured it would be a little more massive

I figured i still had to give it a chance though so i built my box and stuck it in there and all... man... it blew me away this sub is soo great.. soo loud... if ur not ready to roll with the big doggs then this sub definaltely is not for you..

overall i would have to say that i am dissapointed in RE because of how they shipped their equiptment but man they deliver one great product

really.... i ordered 3 RE8s from them from the GB (ah those days) and they were packed neatly and snuggly.

as for the mag structure...it doesnt really matter.

since when does magnet show how good a speaker is? remember if you try to make the magnet big enough it will only waste more money uneeded, shoulda got a XXX or MT if you want a bigger mag

well im glad to hear that the magnet structure does not matter....

i was considering the xxx but from what i had read the sx got louder with higher or equal spl levels as the xxx and spl is what i was looking for and i sure did get it so i am very pleased with my decision

IC, Figured they might for the sx as well. I must agree that pretty janky if they just ship it sitting in a regular box.

mine came the exact same way...on a prayer.

i believe there would be no problems if that bottom plate would stay in place on the motor. once it shifts, sub is free to roll around.

18's make most motor structures look small. The same motor will look decently big on a 10" sub.
