RE unprofessional.. but worth the money

I am having a hard time finding where we (RE) were unprofessional about anything.

All RE subwoofers are shipped with foam padding at every side and AT LEAST a motor cradle in the bottom of the box... if not a wooden crate.

If you received your subwoofer with NO padding whatsoever inside the box, then the speaker must have been repackaged by FedEx. They do that sometimes when they destroy the original packaging for an item.

I'm glad that you are happy with your subwoofer though. Don't be fooled by a motor that seems small. We spend a lot of time and money in engineering our subs. Sometimes we can make a very small, yet very potent motor.

seriously idk whats with ppl saying that the SX is as loud, try again buds!
Because people will hook a XXX up to an average 1000 watt amp and find (oddly enough) that the mildly more efficient SX will get louder off the same power. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Maybe the FedEX guy wouldn't have drop kicked the box if you hadn't sprayed the shit outta him with stinky *** calone...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

This is the way mine came in. . .

Whats the odds?

Simple fact about the RE. . . the packaging for the SE and the SX and probably anything below them sucks!

I called RE to complain about the packing of my sub, i wasnt too thrilled that the magnet was pierced through the side of the box. And yea, i understand it was partially due to rough handling. . but still, they should be packed to be somewhat resistant to rough handling. But of course, they never called or e-mailed me back to hear my complaint.

But overall, the sub was not damaged, and im very please with the product.. they just need to get their packing shit straightened out.

Umm, My XXX was in a crate. My mids were surounded in like 2 cubic feet of foam along with my RE8's.

Would they really change their shipping method? Or are we all jumping to conclusions.

Anyone else notice alot of the new guys trying to bash on RE????????????

Oh well Type-r>RE

That seriously looks more like a Fedex repackage job than anything. Shipping from Las Vegas to Florida is a long way...
I think its a combination of RE's shit packaging, and FED EX's mishandling. .

My Image Dynamics came just as far when i ordered them off sound domain, and its packed completely with cardboard. But the subs sit sturdy in there and since they have cardboard baffles and stuff holding them in place, there is no way for them to shift around inside the box. RE could learn a thing or two from them if RE insist on shipping everything under the XXX's in cardboard instead of crate.

XXX's and MT's are shipped in crates. . REs, SEs, and SXs are packaged . .well, just refer to the pics.

My 12.1 was packaged great. . in fact, i thought they kind of overkilled the packing.

Then you shouldnt get an XXX if your goingto hook it up to an average 1000w amp, anyone knows that.

What WE need, is updates on the new XXX. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

thats exactly how mine looked. the motor plate is the problem. i think if it was glued a little better to the box and some tape used around the cardboard that surrounds the magnet, it wouldn't happen.

however, maybe if it wasn't allowed to roll around the box and was solid, the basket would be busted up when fedX drops it 1,745,253 times:mad:

on another note, if they used wood crates for it, people would bish about additional shipping costs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

maybe, but it would also be nice if they at least gave you the option (if the buyer agrees to pay the additional costs)
