They were given a deal to get an hour of radio exposure in exchange for not picketing. You guys just see them on T.V. but i actually have to deal with them on a personal basis quite regularly being as they live 5-10 minutes away from me in the same town. They really are much worse then they seem on television.

They are total freaks.. but they know the law.. 11 of fred phelps 13 kids are lawyers..
