RE SX12 or IDMAX 12

I am looking for a sub that will give me SPL as well as SQ and I will be pushing it with a Soundstream Reference 500sx. Between the RE SX12 and the IDMAX 12 which one would be better? If you have another sub in mind let me know.

they're exactly the same.................................. they both produce bass that sounds good. close your eyes, spin around, point at one, and that is the better one.

The SX is geared more towards spl where the Idmax is more of a mix. I'd go with a XXX before the SX.

The ID Max is capable of more linear output than the SX, and will be more efficient since it has slightly more cone area as well.

I'd get the Max.

As nice as the SX is, Id chose the Max over it also.
