Re Sx Question

I was looking to get a pair of 12" re sx. I listen to 50/50 rap/metal, so iwant something accurate that will go decently loud. Are these my best choice?

That would be nice, the RE SE is great for both types also.

you need D4s if u need a final 1ohm load.

yes, if your getting two then you must get D4's to wire to 1Ω

but if you get a decent amp, than you might be able to run D2's at .5Ω

i have a single 12" SX D2 on 2 Kicker 400.1's ported somewhere in the low 30's and i have to turn the sub output down with rock for it to sound good. Maybe its just my set up or my preference of "good" sounding

Also on rap it hits pretty crazy, i have a 94 eclipse, it max's out the stock electrical and flex the windshield about 1/16th of an inch. Ive never had it metered. This is all with a single 12 on "rated" 800wrms too
