RE SX 12" vs KICKER L7 12"

does the RE SX overpower the L7 in every aspect such as SPL and SQ.. i am able to sell my two L7s and buy two RE SX 12's for the same price just about.. worth it or not?

i know there are alot of die hard 'RE' fans in this forum so i already think i know what kind of feedback im going to get on this one..

I own an SX 12", it's a nice sub. Right now I'm having an issue with mine making some noise if I turn my gain up but it may have something to do with the Fi recone or my enclosure. I would say that for the price, they are nice woofers. It seems like it has the potential to get quite loud (I say potential because I haven't turned up my amp gain up due to the speaker making noise) and it the SQ is nice.

sxs will pwn the l7s in a good setup, i had 2 15" l7s then switched to 15" sxs back in the day, better sq and output at higher volume.

i went from a 15" Kicker L7 to a RE SX 15" and there was a massive difference, the SX is alot louder and sounds much better, it seems to hit all the notes and i was hearing new bits of the song with my SX, so i would definatly go for the SX

I wouldn't really say the sx is louder than the L7, but I would agree it has better sq.
