Well, you have to consider the cost of overseas frieght and import/export taxes. Then, yes, the dealer markup (gotta make money somehow). So that price isn't really suprising. Plus that isn't much higher than what MSRP is at a brick-&-mortar dealer here in the US.

 
thats overseas. with the coversion rate of the dollar, plus everything sqeak said above, it is a lot higher. ive been in England before, and the prices of items over there compared ot here is ridiculous.
