RE sr's or se's

i got a buddy who wants to get some RE subs he has a 04 dodge ram reg cab, so what would be better 4 sr's or 2 se's? he'll be running them off a md1d

I have used both, the SRs dont lack far behind the SEs...

I think the SR's are very very underrated... 4 sr's would deffinetly be louder than 2 SE's

Yes they are, im runnin 2 10s now on bout 600watts and they would like more. They pound though, im selling them actually... lol

With that amount of power you'd prolli get louder w/ the SRs but i wouldn't see it being a significant difference.

 

If it was my system, i'd run the SEs... From what i've seen they are a much better build quality than the SRs and sound alot better.

ive got 2 15s off 900w and they take it like a champ, Loud as hell to

sound quality would be a toss up and depend on the box, I've played around with SE's and they didnt sound any different than the SR's.

alright, well what ohm load do i need to run the 4 at 1 ohm would i need all 4 to be 4ohm or 2?

Dual 2 ohm subs wired in series, parallel into the amp. If 4 subs.
