re sr 12 question??

anyone have experience with this sub in a very shallow sealed box? im got a new std cab truck and would like to use it. i have more then enuf power for using a sundown1500... helps appreciated. by shallow i mean 6 inches.. mt depth for this sub is 5.75...

be careful with 1500w, that sub cant take much more than 600w.

i figure ill have to gain it down but i think at 2 ohms im only 850 watts so it should be ok.. the 12 is a d4 so i can only go 8 or 2 ohms..

yeah thats what im afraid of..... its all i got tho and my sx is way to deep to even think of using back there.. after i mounted my amps i only have about 17 inches in between them to squeeze a box... i really dont wanna have to buy a shallow sub..

how much space do you have? im trying to decide if .70-.75 + Polyfill will be enough for the sr12's myself. IDQ12v3's will take 600watts and there 5.8"
