how are the re se compared to the newer version re *** quality wise?

personally i think they look stupid as hell with the new design mechanically i havent seen too many people who had both. my older se's were pretty good i wouldnt give them more then 700rms each i seperated the spider from the cone on both with my zx1500.1 they played fine but im sure they wouldnt have lasted much longer. for the price they are a great sub the sq is amazing im sure the newer ones will be fine.
