RE SE tinsel breaking, direct lead time?

I read somewhere that older RE subs had problems with the leads being short. If it has already broke multiple times, I'd try to lengthen it in some way. Guess you could run some direct leads a little long and attach the tinsel to that giving it a little more room to move.

leads are lil too short on most re audio subs and couple that with throwing past excursion and you have broken leads. i can put new leads on ur sub and solder to the terminals. i get subs in like this all the time mostly re,fi,dc..
