RE SE 15s vs shiva-x 15?

has anyone seen the shiva X line of subs? I just ran across them and they seem badass for the price, weird thing is though they have dual 8 ohm vc but yea they look bad as hell. 27mm of 1 way excursion //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif seems like they would pwn my RE SEs on 1300wrms. Anyone heard anything about these? I really wanna try these out

shiva is the 12...

i say its the best sql woofer hands down for the price!

i use one for my ht setup 3.2 sealed 1000 watts @4ohms this thing absolutely pounds.

they are dual 8ohm because they can be used HT or for car audio. as for pwning se's I doubt it because they are oriented for getting loud and the shiva/tempest are SQ oriented

Xmax dosnt always mean SPL. look at the RE XXX with 54MM of xmax, and look at the MT, with 34MM of Xmax.

i've heard the shivas get pretty loud, only downside to the shiva and the tempest is they like enormous boxes, but they are highly efficient so thats what ya get lol

I called the guy up at diycable and he told me that Shiva would work really well in car with 2 cubes sealed and the Tempest with 3cube sealed. Stuffed with 14oz of polyfill per cube. I dont think thats too bad. Im really think the end results would be really worth it!
