re se 12 power?

looking at getting a new sub to replace my round solobaric. looking at the re se 12 in a ported enclosure. specs say 600 rms. but with a dual 4 ohm setup, my amp puts out 750x1 at 2 ohm. is this going to be to much power for that sub?

i would do search...but you can't search with re as your word to go on...

wit the right enclosure it will handle it no prob..oh and it has to be clean power of course

i was looking at the specs off re website...figured i would build the box to their rec of 2 cuft ported at 33hz. it is being run off of a us acoustics usx1000d amp.

as long as the bottom of the sub isn't close to a wall of the box, it'll take 750wrms no problem. You don't want to cover the bottom though, there has to be room for the heat to vent

no problem, i have decent room. in truck of a 2000 bonneville. I can give it 5-6" easily behind sub if need be.

also, im not competing either. just in a daily driver. not cranked all the time....just bursts here or there.
