Just got my sub in the mail today. Short video of the sub free-air:

I wont have time to build a box for it for a couple of weeks because of school. I cant wait for the semester to be over with. Here are a few more pics:

how much wattage would be dangerous to give this sub if i am using it free-air?

let me know what yall think about the line driver mounted over the cd player...

ok. i had a RE SE 10, and it wanged to be most certain. hit as hard as most peoples dual12" setups.

now, 800w was all i was comfertable to give it. that is 200w over its 'rms' in a large ported box - so i wouldnt worry about that. as for free air, just make sure its BARELY getting to Xmax and you will be fine. you dont want the coil to start heating up and shiot - just eyeball it with the gain knob and make sure its not making lots of crazy noises\distortion.

as for the box, i have some good plans if you wanna PM me. ill see what i can do.

i will def. get some shots of the box when i build it, it will be a few weeks before i can get started though, and hopefully if i can sell my sub and amp here locally pretty soon i can come up with some funds to buy another 10....

and yes I do listen to Grits a little bit, all I really listen to is Christian music...so dont hate dawg....

I hear ya. A buddy of mine gave me their cd so I listen to it every now and then. That song hits pretty good and I was just testing out the 10 on it....

its aight, Grits is pretty good.

Cross Movement is a lot better IMO...
