RE recones.

genious?? port wars??i dont get what you mean

we will have to wait till it gets metered

i am just stating what i was told

ur NOT going to hit 160 or 165. how much power do u have, and what box are you running. your not even running a wall so im going against what he said and will say maybe a tad of 150

no hatin, just lettin you know u WONT be hitting 160's

meade put 4 15" MT's on 2 zapco 9.0's i believe, and the truck does like high 150's. oh.....thats in your truck as well.
steve?

He helped a bit with this

I guess what you are saying is right, I dont know anything about audio but I love the way this bumps,

MUCH stronger than my friend's 2 re xxx's 18".

I guess when i take it to be metered I should be hoping for 155

actually it was 4 mt 15's and two zapco 4kw and it only did very low 50's (151). It hammered pretty hard but wasnt designed for dbdrag. It does its '51 at around 50hz and is still at 144 at 22hz....new meter of course.

exton24's bro.....thats a nice setup but dont get your hopes up on that 155, if youve EVER metered before you'd know its a little harder than you think. No offense on that and good luck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Hmm, ill have to check that out. any idea for price?

289 dollars + shipping (PA 5100 top assembly) and we were able to double the efficiency (about +5dB) and retain the power handling and improve linear travel. It was literally like having two MT's and twice the power. We have limited coils so we can’t do it forever, but while we have these coils, we’re happy to fix your MT’s which apparently don’t come with a warranty? We’ll provide 1 year on the top unless you actually blow the coil, but if anything tears rips or comes unglued, you got it fixed free for a year.

that seems high to me for a recone.

But I am in canada. by the time i paid shipping both ways and the recone i could get a new mt.

I would hate say publicly that you are smoking the crack pipe, but... yea... you are.

First of all, I highly doubt that you added +5db of efficiency to an MT 15" without compromising somewhere else. Considering that the sub is already at 93-94db at 1w/1m depending on the coil, you would have to GREATLY reduce Mms to accomplish such a thing. If you did use a moving assembly with 1/3 the weight with an MT, it will lower the Qts of the driver to such an usable level that you just wasted $289 for someone. Secondly, The durability of the driver will definitely suffer.

I'm not all that impressed with a subwoofer that can handle 2kw thermally, 1kw mechanically, that has an Fs of 25, and a Qts of .08! I can't understand why you are either.

Will you stand behind your claim of an easy 165db in this person's vehicle with said power?

You can blow smoke up these guy's ***** all day long, but I'm not going to let you publicly lie about an RE product (even if you have molested it)!!
