yeah i love my re 8. surprisingly loud for an 8 but i havent gotten to play with the dd 1508 i bought the other day here.

I have 4 RE8s in my old truck and they wang... sound pretty decent too.

always liked mine, very effecient little buggers they don't need much power to sound good and they tend to get angry if you try to overpower them. they'll sound great off as little as 100-125watts a piece
