What are the RE prices for a 15'' XXX subwoofer? I tried using the search fucnction and I couldn't find anything? What is all this talk about acutally about using a ten number code to reach RE and get this prices? That seems really confusing

Will a Brutus 1500 really get this thing moving? Or maybe a Viper 1200...or those any good? I am hoping on hitting 165 dB with this setup, how many do you think I can hit?

shoot the 15xxx can hit over 229db in a sealed box. you should get a pyramid amp you can find a 2000 watt one on ebay for about $75 it would be perfect for your xxx

You will not hit 165 dB, and they have already posted links to the price so this reply is kind of worthless eh? Well let's make it worth while.

The bx1500d will be giving you around 1300 watts, and the 1200.1 between 1100 and 1200 in most cases. You won't notice a huge difference between the two, but if you're running sealed I would use more power. There have been quite a few people quite disappointed with the xxx and those particular amps sealed....if you have room for the proper ported box however, it should work out well.

How much do you want to spend on the amp? You can get a Hifonics for 289+shipping. Here is a link:

This amp will put out the recommended rms wattage for the sub which is 1600 watts. I think it will go pretty well with the sub. If you want a really good amp though for the sub, you prolly gonna have to fork up about 3 times that though. But I would say go with this amp if you dont have one G to drop on a top of the line amp. And another note, if you hook it up right, you might hit 140db. And with 1600 watts of power, make sure you have a good alternator, more than 120 amp, and you might wanna throw in an extra battery. But if you dont wanna do that, get a capacitor. It will help out a little bit but not much. With 1600 watts pulling from the amp, yourheadlights will definitely be dimming.
