i have hard evidence. i saw it everyday for a year.

but another thing....300 speakers out of 1000 came back..just k series....

that's bad.

HEy just something that just came to me... i thought eD wasnt going to do reps, and do all that stuff? I thought there plan was just to stay and internet company or was i misinformed? I thought there werent gonna put ads in mags and stuff?

Hey, I've got an idea, instead of dismissing the word of others as lies and hearsay, why don't you try and PROVE something?

i honestly don't have anything to prove. it doesn't effect me either way whether ED fails or succeeds. you are the one making the accusations, so i expect you to be the one to lay out the hard evidence.

i agree, 300 out of 1000 drivers that are in need of repair is not a good number. just curious, did all of these damaged drivers have the same common problem? with the 15A it was obvious. they all had the same problem, failure at the T-joint. it had not a thing to do with the cones breaking, that was just a side effect. this is the first time i am hearing about a common problem (if thats what it is) with the '03 K series. from my personal experience, and all the positive experience on various other forums, i find it odd. i might add that my K's are rated for 300w rms.

as far as the David offering help with the cones, that was nothing more than a publicity stunt. think otherwise and you are more foolish than i first thought

There are pictures, first hand accounts from people that have actually seen and gone through what has gone on, and plenty of user accounts that back up the claims. Like I said, I've also personally owned 4 failed eD woofers. What more do you need?

May I add, an eD rep said Ben would not comment. How would it hurt himself to defend himself, if everything being said is not true? It would only help his cause. Wouldn't you want to defend yourself if what was being said about you wasn't true?

I respect that "n00b" w/ 14,000 posts. Might not me much coming from me.. but still, in every post i've read of his it's been clear that he's not trying to steer anybody away from anything without a reason. I think the problems that eD have been through are crappy, and i wouldn't ever buy a flat coned eD sub but i'll try their new stuff.. you gotta give the new companies some slack.. but they took too much, period.
