RE or ED??? Decisions, Decisions!!!

i have a pair of the defective k's....i haven't had any bad experiences with them. i have also had awesome experiences with my SE 15, and i have had not so good experiences with my 12HC.

Defective eh? I take it you're one of the lucky ones that had a K hold up? What size was it?

because i have the ability to look at things as a whole, not just sit back and obtain my opinion by following others

when it comes to internet companies others opinions are all there is. and if a whole bunch of people are talkin bad about a product or company what do you think is going to happen. and the Onyx vs RE thing is getting old. 12", there are also a few guys out this way who have 12k's, none of them have ever had a problem with them.

Just to let you know, there are more than a few guys that have had problems with the 12K and 15K.

well these are totally different for me i've heard the complaints before but by different peopl and when the mess happen on SIN then that's when I thought somethin wasn't right and this thrread just layed it on the table ffor me.

honestly, it's all a joke to me. i would love to pick up a new nine.1, but who knows when i would actually recieve it. i would also love to own a 36.1, but for now it's just a pretty picture(and may remain that way for all of eternity). both companies have their share of BS if you ask me.

One of the great things with the eD followers are the ones that boast about having speakers that ACTUALLY HELD UP...congradulations! It's not a big feat, they are supposed to work, aren't they?

nothin, but that is for me to decide what's truth through research. you can't tell me that if you heard some products were givin bad reviews about durability truth or not, that you would buy it anyways. I wouldn't because I can't afford to order all the subs I want and then keep the one that I like. on another note, I know a lot of these peoples from forums and they have great reputations and they wouldn't lie because they have nothin to gain from lying. Bigbassman broke records with ED and SI and probably RE but he decides too tell the truth about a company he was once close with (I think he used to be a Rep back in the day) and you think that I shouldn't believe him. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif

Couple quick points

1. Ben won't be posting on here, nor any other forums regarding any of the personal issues. There are two sides to this story, but he is too professional and just too darn busy to get invovled with these godawful internet fights. Some won't believe this, but oh well. eD has literally thousands of customers who need to be taken care of, and arguing all day on caraudio.com will not accomplish anything. eD could create the loudest, best sounding sub and there would still be people on here *****ing about the past; right, wrong, or indifferent.

2. I've wasted more time than I care to think about on this forum in these pissing contests, and I'm ending it here. I will be more than happy to answer any specific questions you may have via email.
