well, where is Ben, i would like to see his side of the story also.

it means he doesn't have a bunch of guys (i said guys, not gays) to come along with him and bash the competition, even if they have never used the compititions products. i am not talking about the people he has personally offended, just the people who jump on the band wagon. there are extreme amounts of them here. you know, people that cannot make a decision for themselves. they would rather jump on the coattails of people who are winning the argument so they can 'fit in'. i like to call them losers, and occassionally, morons.

little wedgie actually has had dealings with ED that i recall...but some people need to learn how to watch their mouth when they represent somebody else...unless they or the company they represent doesn't give a shit....

How do you think there is enough money to make the order? You take preorder for 3 months, charge everybody, collect enough money from charging everybody already to go ahead and order all the subs. That is one reason why it takes so many months after promises to get subs, he didnt have enough people pay for them up front to have the money to buy them to ship them. Just keep thinking about things, it all falls into place.

I didn't have to pay up front. Yes you give them your credit card but they don't charge you until it ships.

maybe it's because they're released components and amps aren't shipping yet, nor will they probably ever....no, that's a different company, my bad

my point is, regardless of what company, it's crazy to have a blind faith in that company. with the exception of a feww peeps in this thread, no one has any experience with ED products, they just flame so they 'fit' in. thats complete stupidity if you ask me.

the 15A's obviously had a problem with failures, at least it seams that way. i have read many of posts rregarding this problem, and more than likely, the true reason ED has moved away from them. is that such a bad thing? RE had funked up motors made for oynx on their HC's, probably the reason for dumping the line. or maybe it is because they sound like arse and can't turn a good number for the life of them. either way, they are gone. is that such a bad thing?

the only ED product i have ever used is a pair of old non-flat cone K's, they have been used hard over the last few years without a problem. the only thing mentioned in this thread about their failure is 750w being applied, if i recall correctly, that is 2x their recommended power handling. anything that blows in a spl app. doesn't say too much. all it says is that it may not be able to handle the level of abuse the user is giving them. i have seen people blow indestructable 9515's, does that mean they are junk? does that mean if i use them 'normally' they will break?....i highly doubt that.

it's amazing the product/company boners some people have, regardless of which way they point. it's amazing that i even bothered coming over to this forum knowing the moronic status it has around the web.

I've given the Mags 3kw each...and they're rated for 600w.

I've given the Mags 3kw each...and they're rated for 600w.

and if you look at the specs for the old k's...pretty sure max rms was 900 watts....
