RE or ED??? Decisions, Decisions!!!

As for Lloyd's pics, I don't have much comment as I wasn't involved with eD at that time...Ben would have to shed light on that, and Lloyd's specific complaints. I don't want it to seem like I'm ignoring it (since I'm sure people would jump on that opportunity) but I am not going to speak about something that I have no prior knowledge on.
So, there are three things I won't comment on:

1. Josh Laine's dealings with Ben

2. Lloyd's dealings with Ben

3. Team Industry (whoever they are/were) and Ben

If I knew more, I'd give 'em a shot, but I don't. My personal experiences with Ben and eD in the past were simply fantastic, and the greater majority of their customers have been the same way. Since you seem to be so close to Ben, ask him about it. Ask him about Team Industry, ask him about the dead Ks, and ask him about all the lies.

If anyone wants to see another dead set of Ks, look under my username in the gallery. One 750w burp and the spiders came apart from the cone...on both of them. First **** burp. I now have a collection of eD woofers that I've broken...with the exception of one, that Mr. Lowry has. I had a fun time ripping that one up.

this eD bashing is getting way out of hand. i think this forum should start feedback threads for each company. kind of like reviews, but for the companies themselves. no bickering, no responses allowed in each thread started.

i'm curious why ben can't come here and defend himself instead of having reps who have no idea of the situation do it for him? i'm sure you guys have alerted him of this thread, and i have seen him posting on other forums, so what gives? if i owned a company and people were making allegations like this against it and me, i would feel the need to defend it........that is.....unless what they were saying was the truth...

maybe it's because they're released components and amps aren't shipping yet, nor will they probably ever....no, that's a different company, my bad

maybe it's because they use defective parts and try and cover it up....no, wrong company again

my point is, regardless of what company, it's crazy to have a blind faith in that company. with the exception of a feww peeps in this thread, no one has any experience with ED products, they just flame so they 'fit' in. thats complete stupidity if you ask me.

the 15A's obviously had a problem with failures, at least it seams that way. i have read many of posts rregarding this problem, and more than likely, the true reason ED has moved away from them. is that such a bad thing? RE had funked up motors made for oynx on their HC's, probably the reason for dumping the line. or maybe it is because they sound like arse and can't turn a good number for the life of them. either way, they are gone. is that such a bad thing?

the only ED product i have ever used is a pair of old non-flat cone K's, they have been used hard over the last few years without a problem. the only thing mentioned in this thread about their failure is 750w being applied, if i recall correctly, that is 2x their recommended power handling. anything that blows in a spl app. doesn't say too much. all it says is that it may not be able to handle the level of abuse the user is giving them. i have seen people blow indestructable 9515's, does that mean they are junk? does that mean if i use them 'normally' they will break?....i highly doubt that.

it's amazing the product/company boners some people have, regardless of which way they point. it's amazing that i even bothered coming over to this forum knowing the moronic status it has around the web.
