as for ED. ben's my friend....but he ****ed up, and i'm not going to sit here and defend him....he's pissed some people off, and i don't need to make anything right....only one person can do that...and so far......he's silent.

That is exactly what I'm talking about. The only defense everybody had was "you're just trying to make your product look better". Well, I'm not the head of a company anymore, whatcha got now? If nobody knew, nobody would have said anything. I do as I always have, any product that deserves recognition, good or bad, I feel the public should know. When there is a common problem, the consumer should know about it to make an educated decision. The point of the the thread is to make consumers aware, so lets keep it that way.

The fact of the matter is, if nobody knew I was, nobody would have *****ed about it. From before I was the owner, to when I was the owner, and after being an owner, I have not changed my ways. That was just the only excuse they had to complain. However, this is not the topic at hand. So, if you wanna keep *****in, do it in PM.

Lot of hype, and stuff on SIN back in the day, and now on ICIX of course.

Wonder if I could get a band of buddies together and hype something too..

Not in my character to lie and hose people though. (not that I have any first hand knowledge of this being done at eD myself... other than my CC being charged way before shipping my sub during a pre-order [eD 15A original flat nomex] {I'm scared to put power to this sub}).

Wonder if there is more of this going on with other small startup companies .. hype can sell.

How do you think there is enough money to make the order? You take preorder for 3 months, charge everybody, collect enough money from charging everybody already to go ahead and order all the subs. That is one reason why it takes so many months after promises to get subs, he didnt have enough people pay for them up front to have the money to buy them to ship them. Just keep thinking about things, it all falls into place.

Your signature was edited twice for two reasons --- one, was blatant advertising for your company. The next, was to disparage a company while operating a competing company....You could have disparaged a company other than eD, and the same result would have ensued.

Whether you are operating said company, is now irrelevant. Interestingly enough, your signature still contains your company site. Guess my sixth sense is not working well.

But we're such fanbois that we allowed you to place YOUR products in the FS area for YOUR preorder.

More than anything that is offbase...is your allegation that Ben funded SiN. He never put ONE penny into jlaine's forum. If it was offered, jlaine would have shot the request down immediately. jlaine merely gave him space, with an understanding that I'm sure you won't understand, so I'll stop here.

Chad...easy to find out if you do your research.

The only reason I posted is to set the record straight, regarding a SiN matter.

As far as eD goes, I can not comment. I was never privy to the inside as some others have, and have never used their products --- and although, I may have plenty to say, it would be out of what I've seen, and not experienced for myself directly.

As for Lloyd's pics, I don't have much comment as I wasn't involved with eD at that time...Ben would have to shed light on that, and Lloyd's specific complaints. I don't want it to seem like I'm ignoring it (since I'm sure people would jump on that opportunity) but I am not going to speak about something that I have no prior knowledge on.

So, there are three things I won't comment on:

1. Josh Laine's dealings with Ben

2. Lloyd's dealings with Ben

3. Team Industry (whoever they are/were) and Ben

If I knew more, I'd give 'em a shot, but I don't. My personal experiences with Ben and eD in the past were simply fantastic, and the greater majority of their customers have been the same way. Well, I see this thread finally got linked. I've said it once, I'll say it again. If all you are going to do is ***** about me, do it in PM. I wasn't aware that having a sig with a website that doesn't work on a forum I don't post on was illegal in e-land.

It's not that everybody is going on a hatefest, its that all the stuff that was covered up is coming out now. You can sit there and justify stuff, and make excuses, and try to make things better, but the fact is, its not just me and the stuff happened. Maybe they are making their products look better too, oh wait, they don't own a company either.
