RE MX15 vs Nightshade 15

lovely
well I have a somewhat pleasant dilemma.. Basically I can get a RE MX15 or a Sundown NIghtshade 15 for roughly $200, thus why im asking would you recommend going with the RE MX15 or a Sundown Nightshade 15.. i have found one of each at a good price, both are dual 2 so itd be runnin at 1ohm on the AQ2200D.. itd be for daily use, and i dont have a box, itd temporarily be in a JL HO box until i got one built to specs, but all in all which would you guys recommend?? theyre both rated 1500rms, but I'm sure ones superior to the other and that each have their pros and cons so thus why i ask.. thanks

by the way i drive a 1989 blazer so i have space for whatever size box necessary.. like i said itd be runnin on an AQ2200D @1ohm, and I got enough of an electrical system to keep the amp and sub happy, so basically give me ur choice and the reason why youd choose the one over the other.. I'd like to know the pros and cons of each sub based on your personal use.. Thanks for the help, all input is appreciated!

I'd go with the nightshade

sundown to me seems like an all around better company

plus its there top sub and iv heard of them being pushed

to 3k don't know if that is an option when choosing a new one

or if thats the way the basic one is able to be pushed to but

it does sound to me like it the more powerful sub.

it fit to an extent, neither fit 'perfectly' but I couldve fit either with minimal work using just simple hand tools (nothing requiring electric power) so as far as them fitting was concerned i was willing to do the altercation necessary to make either of em fit so I didnt want that to be the deciding reason for why i did or didnt get one sub over another, thus i said both fit so that there was no bias based on one of the subs fitting or not..

the issue with both subs were that the basket was too large for the brace tahts inside the HO box but I used a little sheetrock saw and cut four 1"x1"x1" notches in the brace where the basket was hitting the wood and that resolved any issue about the sub not fitting in the box.. all in all i was happier doing that than actually using a jizsaw to cut 1/2inch all the way around the hole where I'd mount the sub (which is what I wouldve had to do if I'd gotten the 15 taht i was originally planning to put in the box which was a Fusion NV-SW15 so the minor cutting I had to do to make Nightshade or MX fit wasnt a big deal for me)
