RE MX vs Fi BTL

Not really a versus thread... but I was proposed a trade, my two 18" fully loaded Fi BTLs for two 15" RE MXs (the new ones) and I'm considering it.

They're almost brand new... and I don't have the air space to run these 18s in my new truck with what I have planned.

They're sexy as hell... wondering if anyone has any experience with them? I'd love to play with new subs, and since I'm not really focusing much on SPL, I figure they may fit my needs better.

What would you recommend for power? They're rated to take 1500 watts each, and they're dual 1s. Cheap, clean power.

If your downgrading to 2 15"s then the MX's would be an excelent choice

I'm thinking of pairing them up with a Kicker ZX2500.1... 2500 watts (at least) at 2 ohms (dual 1 subs = .5 or 2 I believe) so 1250 per sub worse case scenario...seems good enough to me.

Ah, forgot I was talking about two subs, one sub is .5 or 2 ohm.

If I don't sell both BTLs or the trade doesn't go through I'm sure I will... I ran one with a 20.1 for about a month and it was loud. I just want to try new things.
