Did you even read what I wrote? A pair of HD3 15s will do 150 easy given the power. I did a 141.5 with a single 12 and 1500rms, I will give you the update when I add 4000watts and find the trucks sweet spot!!

The HD3 will handle 3000rms EASY!!

Watts do not equal deeebeeez.

And 147 is a **** good number for a pair of 15's in a daily driver. Is it outrageously fantastic? No. But its certainly respectable.

Its an unfair comparison....the hd3's are loud and the MX is a balanced driver..IMO

It can do alot of things well instead of just being loud

FYI, 141.5 with a single 12 is not impressive....especially with 1500 watts.

lol @ buddies....One of mine has 2 10's in a stratus sealed up, seats up, TL on the dash doin nearly a 148 with no tweaking & testing.

Anyway, g'luck with the install. Either sub you can't go wrong.

For one? A RF T20001BD, Sundown SAZ-1500 or the like. They can take 2k-2200 daily from what I've gathered. They're just awesome sounding subwoofers that get fairly loud.

Well I tested the setup again today with the mic in a proper location and did a 144.3 on 30 seconds of store bought music (mic on drivers side kick)
