RE MX or Hd3

i know u shouldnt ask but i want a sub that is accurate, loud, sound good and has the potiential to get into the 150's
So you want a SQ sub that gets stupid loud? Its probably made of unobtainium.
Is what you are asking for possible? Depends on the definition of 'accurate' and 'sounds good'. Nate Munsun hit a 169.7 with a single DD 9510 (that's a single 10" sub for those who dont know)... but I guarantee is sounded like *** doing it.

Sure we can spout off subs like W7s and XXXs, the "SQL" subs... but to hit 150+ with one of them, it will likely lose all musicality in the process.

Install/enclosure makes more difference than exactly which brand of sub you chose. Spend more time on the install details, and getting it all right, than on which brand name to chose... and you'll have a much better chance of reaching your goal.

With all that said, what you ask for (seemingly ask for) is no small feat, and you coming here to ask how to do it shows a great unlikelyhood that you will accomplish your goal (150+ with great SQ from a single driver). If I were you I would first work on making your goal a little more realistic.

i want two 15's that will hit harder than my two L7 15's but sound better, my old setup was two L715's with two kx1200 and i hit a 147 i dont know what meter it was though because after the installers hooker everything up they metered it in the back and told me what i hit

What were you tuned to? High I bet.

Again, tall order. You are looking for two high-end subs (I dunno, W7's maybe, XXX's maybe, Mags... something with some good displacement potential, so you can run them with alot of power, tuned low. The lower you tune, the less boost you'll get from tuning freg + resonant freq, so you'll have to make up for it with power and displacement. The lower tuning should (generally) give you inproved sound quality characteristics... improved useable frequency range, not just a one-note-wonder.

edit: 147 was a **** good score btw, congrats //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i really dont know what i was tuned to they did all that by themselves i dont know that much about tunning well i was looking for something that is underground that nobody knows about like (RE SX 15,SI MAG,and maybe the RE MX
