if your talking about in a ported enclosure. I would stay shoot for 2k.

I've ran mine from 1.2k up to 3k. 1.2k was pretty loud, 3k is really loud, but also at it's limits pretty much.

really 3k and no problems. thats amazing i had no idea that the xxx were so under rated only 1600rms and you can 3k
