I finally took the plunge. Been thinking of getting a RE MT for a while and I just ordered it tonight... Can't wait for it to be built and shipped. My question is, in a DD setup, what box specs would be optimal for a MT 10. Keep in mind, I got this beast to embarass everyone around here who run RF and Audiobahn...

Also, what wattage should I use? I told the RE rep that I plan to throw 3k watts to it and he asked me if it would be only for burps...

pretty dependant on the box size..i was pleased with ~2.5k per.

I'd throw it in 2 cubes NET tuned to 32hz with around 40 in^2 of port. Throw 2000+ rms at it...and you'll be VERY happy.

The reason i said 3000 was that I already have a Phoenix Gold Octane R 15.1 and instead of selling it and getting a different amp, i was just planning on buying another one...

I tested it with a multimeter and it puts out 1850 watts at .9 ohms.

The MT I'm getting has quad 2's and I was wondering if 2 of those amps would be too much...

If so, what amp (or amps) would you all suggest?

Good luck with ur MT...I just ordered an 18 and it should be here next week
