re mt 15 recommended specs for daily

before i have a box designed i need to figure out what would be optimal volume and port tuneing for this subleaning more towards SQ that all out SPL ( a lower bport tune is what im think should be done). but i'd love to get some advice from experts with this beast of a sub. i need recommended specs for daily as well as specs for all out SPL for when i compete //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i cant really comment on the 15s(until i get mine in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ) but my 18 does nice in 7cu ft @31hz, and sounds pretty good for what it is

i would do anywhere from 4-4.5 maybe for a 15, just guesstimating, maybe 28-32hztuning would do well, im doing 34hz on my next box

EDIT:you could probably drop it in the enclosure you ahve and it would do nicely

Daily, TRUST ME...

4.5 cubes @33hz with 90 sq. in. of port

SPL:

Depends on your power...

If you have PLENTY of power (read 4000+ rms)...

2.2 cubes NET with FOUR 4" aeroports on the EXTERIOR of the box. I recommend a 15 x 15 x 17 INTERNAL box... sub firing 90 degrees opposite the ports...

If you have less power, I'd go with around 5cubes, 60-90 sq. in. of port, and 5-7hz under your peak.

thanks for all teh info....as of now ive cut back on my budget and i think im gonna keep the hybrid and work with that..... it sounds decent enough in the box i have now but i think ill build an spl box for it.....im still not sure what im gonna do as far as spl for that one, im not sure wither to use the TC sounds 3HP specs or the RE mt specs fro spl...i do like the areo port ideas....
