500/5 is what is on 24/7Runs a pair of my comps 60.7CS and 32.7C for the rear fill along with the 13w3v3

It something to not damage the ear and produce excelent frequecny responce.

A switch activates 2 sets of 60.7CS comps with a 450/4 pushing them, and 2 13w6v2 with 2 JL 500/1's.

Is that explained better?

seriously, it seems like most of caraudio.com is obsessed with getting the best bang for your buck, literally. Yeah there are several drivers out there that cost less, that might put higher #'s on the termlab.

But putting price aside, you got to admit that JL audio puts out some very clear bass, great SQ and still decent amount of SPL. They are extremely reliable and last forever when not abused.

They are obviously dedicated to high quality and they wouldn't be at the top of the professional car audio scene if it wasn't so...

Not sure why almost everybody hates JL Audio on CA.com. Is the price really that bad? Or is this a bunch of haters? Or is this some sick bandwagon that says "lets go as cheap as possible"? Us JL Audio owners are not actively going out of our way to hate on cheap-o systems in cheap-o cars (which are a dime a dozen on CA.com) so why are you hatin?

I would have thought there would be more hate on companies like Orion, Lanzar, etc who have all sold out to chinese companies, and are putting out chrome crap with weat guts and "PIMP MY RIDE" logos

odd.. i have some EXTREMEMLY high end gear (and to be honest, i have more invested in custom building my own woofers than 3 w7's would cost me at retail) and i dont run jl. i am also willing to put money on the fact that i own a few cars nicer than most on here (including yours) and i dont run jl. a stupid braggert post, YES. but true. it goes to show.. its not about money. there simply are better woofers out there at the comparable price levels. taht said- teh jl w7 IS a nice woofer, and if it was around 400 new for a 13, it would be worht it.

Im not saying JL Audio is the one and only best company out there. Im just tryin to say they are at the top, alongside several other companies who put out just as high quality products at lower prices yet still aren't as popular...

yes. Couldn't fit another w6v2, so I run the 500/5 with 1 pair of compoenents and the 3.5" with the 13w3v3 as a daily setup, and a switch wakes up the 13w6v2's, and the 450/4 to another 2 pairs of comps.

Why did you set that up like that? I mean I could understand if the subs were matching but do you not know that different model subs preform differently? You have a lot to learn about CA and how things are on this forum. I'm sure there have been countless threads like this but I think just about anyone on here that actually has some intelligence and common sense can search for opinions on JL equipment. But since I have already posted, I might as well throw in the fact that JL makes nice amps and subs, but don't break them. JL amps are always expensive to fix and sub recones (if you can get them reconed) are very expensive. For now I'll stick with my Sundown equipment. It's more fun to embarrass these punks around here with their 500/1's and 2 12w3v3's with my 15.
