ok well i might be getting a different sub. so this might need to go.

what do you mean "right beside"? I do not mix and match subs haha...

My question is simply this...which one would get louder on 1.2-1.6K watts?

not only that, but it's essentially the same sub. it actually shouldn't have any different of a moving mass if the other coils were dual 2 and these are essentially dual 1's. it really should be just as loud at 1000 watts as the sx, however this one has the ability to take more power there fore making it louder, so yes the increased power handleing does make it louder.
