are the specs given from this calculator accurate enough to go by?

I am gonna build a box for my 2 SA's soon, hoping to fit all the cuts on 1 sheet of MDF...

if not, what's wrong with it?

I used RE for my first box I ever made when I first got my head into car audio, I was running around with a "3.5" cube box with a "35"hz port on my two 12 SAs.

Turned out that box with the given sizes was 5.5 cubes@43Hz.

>_>

Still have that box, makes for a hood umbrella holder, those 11 inch holes they do.

Thanks to everyone for their input! I just dled the tores calculator off a thread from the SMD forums (google lol).

I wonder if i could get the guy at home depot to make all my cuts HAHAH...it would **** if i made a slanted cut on accident.

You can, it'll cost you.

However, there is no fun in that.

Building enclosures is quiet the experience, half of the fun if you will.

Don't let home depot make those cuts unless you absolutely have to. I have had very mixed results with that . Far more failures than successes when letting them do the cutting. What I thought would save me time ended up being a huge pain in the ****. I have them rip it down to a few manageable sheets and then do all the real cutting at home.

yeah, i actually have a table saw at home, but its really small and would be hard to chop a full sheet of MDF up.
