Okay so I am planning on buying 2 RE SXX 15 and I heard that they are SQ subs I was just wondering if they were SQ subs or not?

yes they are sq subs. theyve got potential to get loud as well though in the right box with the right power.

The sx series? The old version of those were more spl oriented, still sounded pretty good in a good box, but any sub not recommended for sealed use is not sq oriented. Unless the new version is vastly different, though I'm pretty sure it's just a Chinese knock off of the old

Check out idmaxs for sq or the SA 12 or 10s for great both .. great subwoofers and easy people to work with, around the same price

SX's are good subs, but definitely NOT SQ subs. Of course, SQ is in the ear of the beholder. I like the way they sound personally.

Indeed. New RE and SQ do not belong in the same sentence IMO.
