RE Audio SX 12" vs IDMAX 12"

I've done a lot of research and have narrowed it down to these 2 subs: RE Audio SX 12" vs IDMAX 12".

Which one of these has the better SQ/SPL ratio in your opinion?

By SQ I mean precise, hard hitting, subs that bump hard while being somewhat loud.

So... What setup would you guys recommend? I'm pretty sure I'm going to get 2 12's.

And also what size/type of box & tuning would you recommend?

I've owned both.

SPL: RE SX > IDMAX

SQ: IDMAX > RE SX by a long shot

RE SE, or the MX, and thats from perosnaly experiance

I would take the SX over the IDmax any day.

The only RE I've owned was the SX, but heard the old XXX and MT. The RE SE is supposed to be sq oriented.

Also have owned both and agree with him. If i had to choose again I would definitely go with the IDmax. How much power you going to be feeding them?

For daily needs, I think the IDMAX is the choice.
