RE Audio SE10 or 2 RE Audio RE10?

He should get 2 10 SRs. You can get a pair of them off ebey for $164 shipped brand new with warranty. Run 1000-1200 watts between the two of them and he will be slamming.....

The SE 10 will far outdo the pair of RE RE10's. It'll impress you if its powered correctly and in the correctly designed and built enclosure!

BTW^^^1200 wts to a pair of SR's????!?! Wouldn't last that long unless in the right hands...! With that kind of power, the SE's would be the sub of choice!

how much are willing to spend on a amp?

i would get a amp that has at least the rms power into 4ohms, 600watts.

some guys run less, but it you want to get the best sound out of that sub feed it it's rms sundown,jl slash series, zapco dc, audison, brax, zed audio, i like these amps because of there flexablity to make any sub sound great.

you can find plently of amps out there that you could run @ 2 or 1ohm loads, but you'll be maxing the amp out.

if you get an amp that does 600 watts into 4ohms now, then maybe down the road you will want change out subs that may need more power, then you will be able drop the amps ohm load down to 2 or 1 loads to get that power without having to buy another amp
