Actually once of our dealers is going out of business (actually changing businesses) and has his current stock of BM's at a lowered price. I just spoke with NoLimit on here and he's doing 143's with two ported BM's. Not too shabby for our mid-line driver. The SQ and SPL results of the challenge show a good bit of the BM's abilities - great SQ, and good SPL ability. Whichever you gear them towards is where they will excell (and by that I mean the install).
Yeah thats a shame Nick. He'll be fine though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Like Nick said, my bm's are doing 143 on the termlab. I can tell you first hand that they are great drivers, and you will be impressed with their SQ. They are, after all, Stereo Integrity //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Mine are ported. I actually might build a sealed box over the thanksgiving to see how they are sealed.
I've never heard an RE SE, so I'm not going to make claims about their drivers and how they perform. I only know that the BM's are incredible, and are worth every penny, and more.
I wouldn't consider the SE a mini XXX. RE has different drivers. The BM was geared towards being a "mini mag". People say they sound the same, but the mag just gets a lot louder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Which, after hearing both, they both sound incredible. The mag's lows are more resounding, whereas the BM flourishes in the middle range. Hence the SI recommendation of tuning a box to 34hz.
